The great hall as glass windows that are so enormous, the walls themselves appear to be almost entirely glass. They won't break, though, because of strong spells protecting them. The hall is filled with five different tables. One for each house and one for the teachers.

Classes are held anywhere from the dungeons all the way up to the astrology tower. This is where students spend most of their time during the week. Please try to get to your classes on time and remember, getting lost is not an excuse.

Sub-board: greenhouses

It is so easy to get lost here at Hogwarts. Almost everyone gets a little confused every once and a while. Even seventh years get lost sometimes. Maybe it was because they were looking at all the pretty artwork on the walls instead of where they were going.

Students rarely get sent here, but when they do, it is not always a bad experience. The room is cozy and pretty and full of interesting knick-knacks to examine while you wait for the Headmaster. It has a very calming effect on everyone who enters, and is always warm and inviting.

This is both a great place to study, or just hang out with the people in your house. Don't even try getting in to another house's common room. Unless you have the password, the portraits will not let you in under any circumstances.

Sub-boards: girl's dormitories, boy's dormitories

This is where all school games are to be and this is where most of the teams practice. The pitch holds six goal posts, three on each side, and fifty foot high bleachers so that the whole school can watch.

The forest is a dark and forbidding place, off-limits to students, unless being punished of course. It has many rare creatures and its very easy to get lost.

The Black Lake is one of the deepest and England and holds more than anyone could imagine. Like merpeople for one! Also if your lucky you might be able to see the giant squid that lives beneath the lake's murky waters.

The Whomping Willow is a very violent tree and is set off towards the Forbidden Forest, away from everything else. There is said to be a secret tunnel under the tree, but who knows...

This is the best wizarding shopping districts in London. You can find just about everything you want or need, anywhere from books to brooms. Gringotts Bank is also located here.

This is where all Hogwarts students board that bright, shiny, red train, the Hogwarts Express. Though, first, you have to pass throught the invisible barrer between platform nine and ten.

The ministy of Magic has many departments that are extremely interesting. Most of the departments will let you look around, except for the Deparment of Mysteries. Afterall, there are most likey thigns down there that could eat you...
